About Our Dentists
Dr. Ross Rubino is a 1977 graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago Dental School. He is a Park Ridge native and resident. He attended Maine South High School (1968) and Michigan State University (1972). Dr. Rubino opened his practice in January 1978 and in 1998 moved to our new facility. It was custom built to allow us to practice dentistry the way we feel is best – high tech with excellent personalized service.
Dr. Rubino and his staff are committed to continuing education. He received his Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in July, 2000. Fellowship in the AGD requires a dentist to complete 500 hours of continuing education and pass a rigorous exam covering all areas of general dentistry. He has extensive experience in reconstructive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
Dr Rubino was appointed to the/University of Illinois Dental School Alumni Board in 2009 and participates in the school’s mentoring program. This program matches dental students with practicing dentists in a “big brother” role. He was a ship’s dentist for Holland-America Cruise Lines for 4 years. He is married to Terri, one of our hygienists, and has five children. He is very active in the community in business, schools, and sports programs with his children.
