Our philosophy is to help each patient achieve the highest level of dental health that is appropriate for them, recognizing that not all patients have the same dental needs or desires.
We are always excited to meet new patients. Your first visit begins with a personal and private interview during which you can help provide your medical and dental health history and share with us your dental health and goals. This is followed by a detailed examination by the doctor, which may include the following:
- Detailed charting of teeth and gums
- Intraoral and extraoral photos
- Evaluation of soft tissues
- Oral cancer screening
- TMJ muscle evaluation
- Digital X-rays, including 3D and scanning for diagnostic models
When you come in for your initial visit, please be sure to bring your dental insurance card and arrive early to fill out your initial paperwork if you have not already done so. Please bring a list of any medications you are taking. If you need antibiotics prior to dental work, please take them as prescribed. If you are not sure if you need antibiotics, please contact your doctor prior to your visit.
Whether you need a cleaning, a filling, or even a brand-new smile, we are here to help. Great dental care doesn’t just make for a fantastic smile, it also helps promote overall health and wellness. If you have a special occasion coming up or are interested in brightening your smile, ask us about whitening or other cosmetic dental options. We want you to have the confidence to share your smile with the world!

Your Child's First Visit
Your child's first visit to our dental office can help them feel more comfortable visiting the dentist and allow us to observe any dental changes. We have found that informing your child about their first dental visit can help set the stage for a positive dental experience. We encourage parents to accompany their children during their visit. This provides an opportunity to see us working with your child and allows us to discuss dental findings and treatment needs directly with you.
During this visit, we will get to know your child and help them feel comfortable in the office by explaining what will happen during the visit and showing them the tools we will use to help keep their smile healthy. We will also discuss your child’s medical/dental health history, evaluate your child’s teeth and gums, and review proper dental hygiene instructions.
We look forward to meeting you and your child for your first appointment!
